I’m delighted to announce that the lab received a NARSAD Young Investigator award from the Brain and Behavior Research Foundation to fund our work on the contribution of astrocytes to chronic stress disorders.
This work, which has been started by Ciaran in his postdoc, will investigate the effects of chronic stress on astrocyte structure and function, before measuring the impact on synaptic transmission, plasticity, and behaviour.
